GameMaker's website needed exciting blog thumbnails to entice users to engage with content and see what they could create using the tool themselves. This was achieved through bright, eye-catching game imagery and bold text. All designs were created using a mixture of Figma, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
The marketing team requested email banners to send out as part of the onboarding process. This assured that any users who hadn't yet completed their onboarding were more inclined to after seeing the types of games they could create using the tool. These designs were created using Adobe Photoshop.
Lastly the Marketing team requested a welcoming social media banner to use across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. This design needed to be inclusive of all genders and ages so a collection of different game characters were used to create a collage. This design was created in Figma.
The GIF above was created to inspire users to get involved with the 'Live Wallpaper Jam'. The neon lights and bright design gained a lot of traction on the GameMaker twitter page. The imagery was taken from an existing live wallpaper found on the Opera GX browser. Created using Figma, Photoshop and Adobe After-Effects.
I also created Meet-Up Graphics for multiple locations across the globe. Above is just 2 of the designs I created with the location inspiring the design. I used my illustration skills to aid in the creation of a lot of my work for the graphics. The bold designs helped to grab attention and gathered a lot of traction.
